EA Mobile has done it again. Following up on their very successful Christmas and Easter mobile game sales, EA has reduced the price on a lot of great iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Android games for Memorial Day. Many games can be purchased for as little as $0.99. Others, while not quite as cheap, are still a bargain when compared to their normal list price.
EA seems to be making these kind of holiday sales a regular thing, which makes you wonder who actually picks up EA Mobile games at full price? Perhaps the convenience of acquiring mobile games and their already relatively cheap price means that some gamers will pay full price for a game they are interested in before heading out to the airport, or while stuck at the DMV or doctor’s office waiting room.
But if you are a frugal mobile gamer, it might be wise to plan ahead and pick up some of EA’s mobile games now before you find yourself bored somewhere and itching for a new game to play. While not all of EA’s mobile games are great, many are. And really, with so many at $0.99 it is a little easier to take the plunge on a game you might be interested in.

I picked up NBA Jam for my iPhone and Dead Space for my iPad last time these game went on sale and both are great mobile titles. NBA Jam has become my go-to game on my iPhone. If you are a fan of the series or arcade basketball I highly recommend picking it up, especially at $0.99.
